Assignment:
To design a logo for the new PCT Brewing and Fermentation Science Research Lab

From the Client: 
"The lab is designed to be used as a research facility for faculty, students (mainly brewing and biomedical health science), and industry (specifically Bald Birds right now). I have several pieces of scientific equipment that we've moved to Bald Birds which are able to measure fluid dynamics like color, turbidity, international bitterness units (IBU), total carbohydrates, etc. Most breweries don't have these measuring capabilities, but by blending a research lab into Bald Birds production facility, we're able to access all their equipment and products (hard teas, hard seltzers, beer, spirits) for scientific investigation. The goal is to get students and faculty integrated with real world research application and in the end make more consistent/efficient/new products through research innovations.

I'd like to have some artwork outside the Bald Birds facility to show this partnership to everyone who stops by. The lab is inside the production brewery, so having artwork on the door or in the lab would designate our space. Lab coats would be cool too.  With that visibility I hope to promote the college and brewing program to hopefully raise enrollment. Hopefully we'll also get some publications and grant money as this gains traction."
